This beautiful, stone-walled 13th century cottage is hidden away in the Dartmoor village of Holne. Although only 50 metres from the charming Church House Inn and next to the village church it’s completely secluded and can’t even be seen from the little road that goes through the village.
The cottage has been in the owner, Jane's family for many years, and as her and her partner Stuart are architects it’s been sensitively restored to a very high standard. It really is the quintessential Dartmoor cottage, combining the cosiness of low ceilings and a wood burning stove with great modern features such as the fabulous new bathrooms with limestone floors, heated towel rails and underfloor heating. It's the kind of cottage you won’t want to leave at the end of your holiday!
